About Minnesota Society of Professional Engineers

Founded as the Minnesota Society of Professional Engineers in 1939, and later an affiliate state society of the National Society of Professional Engineers, Engineering Alliance Minnesota provides relevant, accessible professional development, and Professional Engineer licensure advocacy for all engineering disciplines and industries in Minnesota, as well as outreach and leadership supporting Minnesota's future STEM workforce.

Our members include Professional Engineers, experienced career engineers, early career engineers, and students. Their work covers a diverse range of engineering disciplines and industries. Engineering Alliance Minnesota is a statewide professional association that is also broken down into nine geographic chapters.

Engineering Alliance Minnesota is led by a volunteer board of directors elected by the membership, volunteer chapter leaders, as well as several committees.
